Mining in lowsec is high-risk and should be avoided if you can't defend yourself. Mine in 0.5 and higher. The same goes for missions and anything else really.. you arn't really safe in highsec so in lowsec you simply have to expect to die.

Nice ideas. Maybe CCP should think about these after they have fixed the client and the server (ie. lag + desync) so the game becomes playable in its current form.. then worry about implementing more crappy features noone wants (like heat).
